Jessica & John | Skiatook Springs
As Tulsa Wedding Videographers, Felicia and I head to Skiatook Springs for the wedding of Jessica & John. It was an awesome day in April and only a two day difference from my own wedding anniversary so I already had something in common before I even meet anyone. In the bridal suite is where I met Jessica. She was still getting makeup and hair finished and seemed to be perfectly calm and excited at the same time. Seeing people in love and getting married all the time makes me an all around happier person. Moments later a knock on the door turned out to be a present from John. Inside was a beautiful pearl bracelet and jewelry box to hold more gifts in the future. John also was given a present, A watch that will forever me know as the wedding day watch. Jessica and John didn’t want to break tradition by seeing each other before the wedding with a first look. Instead they had a moment of holding hands and praying before to help with the nerves. However she did a first look with her father that got a little emotional. Seeing his little girl all grown up and giving her away can be emotional for anyone. The Ceremony was next to the lake in the back of Skiatook Springs with everyone in place and ready the minister asks for everyone to stand. Ahead of the bride was the cute flowergirl also known as Garth Brooks’ granddaughter but she couldn’t steal the show from Jessica who was glowing with beauty wearing a big smile as her father gave her away. After the vows were exchanged they moved on to the rings and before anyone knew it they were being pronounced Husband and Wife and the minister gave John permission, “you may kiss the bride”. Tulsa Wedding Videographers have to be able to capture the biggest moments such as these. They walked off to the sound of cheers from friends and family because they know these two have a never ending love for eachother. At the reception we were able to steal them away for another once in a lifetime sunset lakeside picture. The night was filled with fun and dancing. To end this Epic day they chose to go with ribbons which are just as good as sparklers and they don’t burn anyone. They drove off to start their adventure.
