Victoria and Phillip were seriously the cutest, sweetest couple. From the beginning of our journey with them taking their engagement photos at Loose Park in Kansas City, MO, they have been a dream to work with! We were very excited to also photograph their wedding.

Their day started off like most wedding days, slow in the morning while the guys and girls get ready. The girls got ready with hair and makeup at a family home, while the guys got ready and dressed at the church where the ceremony took place. When we showed up to the girl’s getting ready location, hair and makeup were already underway. We grabbed a few shots of the details, Victoria getting her hair and makeup done and then moved into her getting her gorgeous dress from Belle Vogue Bridal on. It had a beautiful tulle skirt with a very intricate and detailed bodice. After all of her final touches, Victoria shared in her final look with her bridesmaids with a reveal.

Victoria chose to have a first look with her dad at the church where their ceremony was. It was an emotional experience on both ends and tears all around. They hugged and Victoria went to hide in preparation for the walk down the aisle. She had her father walk her down the aisle and they shared in some laughs along the way.

The church where they chose to get married provided for a beautiful backdrop for their ceremony. They shared in their vows, ring exchange and a kiss between the bride and groom. Once they finished the ceremony, the guests lined up outside where the couple walked through a grand exit. They were greeted by their friends and family.

Shortly after the grand exit from the ceremony, the couple joined their wedding party for some bridal party photos. The location they chose for their portraits overlooked downtown Kansas City and it was absolutely breathtaking. Not only that, the bride and groom rocked their couple’s portraits.

They also took their bridal party photos in front of the Kauffman of Performing Arts in downtown Kansas City, where they shared in some fun group photos. This group was lively, let us tell you! They were so much fun the day of the wedding.

The bridal party then got on their shuttle bus that took them to their reception location, Olde Mill Emporium. We really enjoyed working with this venue. The venue itself was beautiful and the service was even better.

After they entered the venue for their grand introduction into the reception, the couple joined in cutting their wedding cake. After they cut their wedding cake, they, along with the party, ate dinner catered by Cosentinos. They had their best friends share words of wisdom and insight to them in their speeches and laughed at their many jokes. After the wedding cake cutting and the speeches, the couple shared in their first dance as husband and wife. They shared their first dance in front of beautifully lit Christmas trees. Phillip shared in a dance with his mom while Victoria danced with her dad to their favorite song. Both dances were very emotional and you could feel the love they shared between one another.

After the dances, Victoria threw her bouquet to her single friends and Phillip searched and then tossed the garter to his single friends as well. They danced the night away for the rest of the night, while sharing in fun and memories with their favorite people.
