Abby and Zach were a wonderful couple to photograph. They were the perfect example of how love can find you when you least expect it. Abby had said she would never marry anyone shorter or younger than her, and not someone she worked with. Zach, however, was all three of these things! Their love story was a truly heartwarming one and it was an honor to capture their next chapter at Noah’s in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Abby prepared with her bridesmaids for the exciting day ahead in the gorgeous venue. She laughed and smiled at a gift that Zach has given her that morning, of a ‘cookery book’ he had made, so she can make him food! Recipes included how to make cereal, which made Abby laugh. Abby wore a gorgeous, white, A-line wedding dress that had a sweetheart neckline. It was finished with the most beautiful sash that sparkled and she looked flawless.

Zach was a very fun guy, which you could see throughout the whole day. He posed in silly ways with his groomsmen before the ceremony which was a lot of fun to capture. He was so excited to marry Abby and kept on doing mini first bumps throughout the day. He wore a stunning gray suit with brown brogues and a silver tie.

We captured some gorgeous shots of Abby and her bridesmaids, who wore light pink dresses and held white flowers which matched the bride’s bouquet. We captured a lovely moment between Abby and Zach before the ceremony, where they stood either side of a door and held hands, making sure not to see each other. It was a wonderful way to build the excitement, which you could see was hard to contain for both of them.

Abby and her Father smiled brightly as they walked down the aisle towards Zach. There was laughter and high emotions as they read their vows in front of the beautiful altar, that was decorated with fairy lights and delicate material. They signed on the dotted line to make it official and headed off for the next part of their magical day as husband and wife. We took some fantastic shots between the silos outside, with Abby and Zach and their large entourage of groomsmen and bridesmaids. The couple looked so happy and in love as we captured the portraits of just the two of them outside. It was very romantic.

Guests applauded as the newlyweds entered the reception room. The venue transforms amazingly to change the whole space from ceremony to reception. The room was full of twinkling fairy lights, which hung in front the gorgeous big windows. The couple shared a first dance as friends and family watched on and soon the dance floor was packed as the music continued through the night. We went outside again with Abby and Zach to capture shots in front of the big window with beautiful fairy lights shining through. They held an umbrella and smiled at each other as we captured photos of the two of them.

Abby threw her bouquet in to the crowd, followed by the fun garter toss. Everyone got involved in these fun traditions, hoping they would be the ones to catch the bouquet or the garter. Abby changed in to a beautiful, short white dress for the end of the evening. The beautiful couple left to a magical sparkler exit, smiling and laughing having just experienced the most perfect day shared with their friends and family.

We hope you are Abby and Zach are doing well and enjoying married life together! It was such an honor to capture this wonderful day. Take a look at our wedding photography portfolio to find out more about us or contact us here.
