Alyssa and John celebrated their stunning wedding at The Nest at Ruth Farms, Ponder, Texas. This beautiful, rustic, outdoor wedding was the perfect day, and it was a pleasure to take these photographs. Alyssa was the perfect bride. She wore her hair in a stunning updo, accompanied with flowers. Her dress looked like something from the 20s, which was covered in stunning pearl embroidery and finished with beautiful lace sleeves. Her lovely bridesmaids helped with her garter and they shared laughter as they prepared for the wonderful day ahead. Her bridesmaids wore stunning, floor-length black dresses. Just before Alyssa was about to head out for the magical day ahead, a weather warning for a rainstorm came in. They decided to go ahead with the outdoor wedding which made for the most beautiful photos.

John looked very handsome in his suit, with spotted blue bow tie, black braces and brown brogues. Alyssa had written a note on the sole of one of John's shoes, that said 'Bear, our day is finally here + I cannot wait to meet you at the end of the aisle. Your bride.'

John and his groomsmen watched the game whilst they got ready. John and Alyssa wrote beautiful notes to each other, which they read before they walked down the aisle. As they read the notes, they stood on either side of a door, holding hands but not seeing each other. It was a gorgeous moment.

We captured a first look moment between the bride and her Father. It was a beautiful moment. He looked so proud of his daughter. They headed outside to towards the altar. The sky was dramatic, and the weather was fast approaching, but it didn't spoil a thing. Alyssa's Father gave her away, and she and John faced each other, ready to commit to each other for the rest of their lives.

The bride and groom were a lovely couple, who made us feel so welcome and cracked jokes all day. She was a free-spirited type, and John was a pragmatic, straight to business type. They worked perfectly together, and it was wonderful to witness them say 'I do.'

The venue had stunning natural light. We captured stunning portraits of the couple by the lake, who smiled broadly after becoming husband and wife. Inside the barn, Alyssa and John both poured paint on a canvas, as a unity ceremony. It was a wonderful idea, and I'm sure this stunning piece of art is hanging proudly in their home.

The reception was a lot of fun. There was a live band, and everyone had a blast. The venue was stunning. It had amazing wooden flooring, exposed beams and was decorated so intricately. A pizza truck arrived and served the guests amazing pies. It was a really brilliant idea, and everyone enjoyed the delicious food.

The dance-floor was packed for the whole evening. Fun wedding traditions like the garter toss took place and Alyssa and John shared a private last dance. They departed through a line of sparklers, to round off what had been a perfect day and to start their life together as husband and wife.

Thank you guys for having us for your big day; we clicked really well I had a blast hanging out with you guys. I wish you all the best. You have the attitude to make it through those storms and make the most of life, and I wish you all the best. Congratulations.
