The Springs in Weatherford, Texas, was the beautiful location where Bethany and Jamie tied the knot. It was amazing to work with this gorgeous couple and get to know them. The whole day was full of love, laughter and emotion and we were so happy to photograph this very special wedding.
We shot the bridal photos for Bethany, so it was great that we got to spend this time with the bride before the wedding day. This gorgeous couple were very fun and really sweet people. You could see the love between these two throughout the whole day. Bethany had a wonderful time getting ready. She and her bridesmaids wore matching robes as they did their hair and makeup. They all rallied together to get Bethany ready for her big day and prepare her to be a bride. It was lovely to see the friendships between them all. Bethany wore a stunning A-line gown that had delicate sleeves and buttons at the back. She was a stunning bride and wore her hair down finished with a gorgeous veil. When Bethany was ready, she met her Father for a first look moment. He looked very proud of his daughter and had the biggest smile on his face. Later, Betany and Jamie shared a stunning letter reading moment, where they stood either side of a wall and read their words to one another. It was very emotional. They had so much love for each other and you could see how much these letters meant to them.
Jamie wore a gray suit with a purple tie and looked very handsome for his big day. We took some great shots of Jamie with his groomsmen outside the venue, including some funny shots too. We also captured shots of Bethany and her gorgeous bridesmaids, who wore stunning floor-length dresses that were different shades of purple and lilac. The stunning bouquets matched with the dresses and it was a beautiful theme throughout the day.
The gorgeous ceremony was held outdoors and the weather stayed perfect. The page boy pulled a little wooden wagon down the aisle ahead of the bride, that the cute little flower girl sat in, which was covered in purple flowers. Jamie shed a tear when he saw Bethany walk down the aisle. They met at the altar that was decorated with white flowers and greenery. They held hands as they said their vows and were pronounced husband and wife. It was a beautiful ceremony and certainly will be a cherished memory for the couple for the rest of their lives. After the ceremony, we captured some gorgeous shots of the couple in their first moments as husband and wife. The marriage certificate was signed on Jamie's back, which just showed the fun, relaxed side to the couple.
The venue had a lot of different places to take photographs, so we got a range of shots of the gorgeous couple. It was the perfect time of day, as the ceremony ended at the golden hour time. We soon headed inside for the reception. Jamie and Bethany walked down the grand wooden staircase and was welcomed by confetti and cheers from their friends and family. The reception took place in a stone hall. It had a stunning rustic vibe. The bride and groom shared their first dance followed by the father and bride dance. The reception soon turned wild and everyone was having a lot of fun. They took part in fun traditions like the garter and bouquet toss and enjoyed toasts from their loved ones. We went back outside for night time portraits. It was slightly raining at this point, so we took photos under the awning. Bethany and Jamie were so comfortable with everything throughout the whole day and they were just so happy to be there. They certainly had a wonderful attitude where, no matter what happened, it was their special day and they were going to enjoy it. They left through a sea of bubbles and headed off into the night to start their journey as husband and wife.
Congratulations guys, it was super exciting to be with you on this journey of love, we wish you guys all the best in the future.
