Fun, sweet and very welcoming, Brittany and Brandon were a wonderful couple to photograph. It was an honor to attend their very special wedding day. They married at St Peter's Catholic Church in Lindsay, Texas, just north of Dallas and celebrated with close friends and family.
Brittany and her bridesmaids got ready for the day ahead at her Grandma's house. Brittany's Grandma was running around helping to get everything ready and steaming the dresses whilst the girls did their hair and makeup. Brittany was a stunning bride. She wore a floor-length A-line white gown which had a sweetheart neckline. Her beautiful bridesmaids wore gorgeous dresses that sparkled and looked very elegant. The girls wore matching robes as they got ready and had a wonderful time all morning. Brittany shared a first look moment with her Father once she was ready for the big day. He had the biggest smile on his face when he saw his little girl. He was wearing a personalized tie that she had given him for the wedding day that said 'Daddy, thank you for walking by my side today and always' and included her name at the bottom and the date. It was a very special moment and you could see how much this day meant to both of them.
Brandon wore a black suit, with matching tie and braces. He looked very smart ahead of his big day. His groomsmen dressed to match and each wore a flower in their suit pocket that matched Brittany's bouquet. Brittany and Brandon decided to keep the day traditional by not seeing each other before the ceremony, but we captured some gorgeous photos of the couple standing either side of a wall and holding hands. It was wonderful to see the couple feel the presence of the other ahead of the ceremony and you could see the love they felt for one another.
Brittany and Brandon had recently moved away and so it was great for them to come back and see their family and friends and share this very special day with them. They had a traditional catholic ceremony in Lynsey, a quaint town that is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. The guests sat on the beautiful wooden pews and awaited the moment when Brittany would arrive and walk down the aisle towards her husband to be. The ceremony was very beautiful, they took part in mass and said their vows in front of the most beautiful architecture. Brandon looked very proud to be walking back down the aisle with Brittany, who was now his beautiful wife.
We stayed in the church for a little while to capture photographs of the newlyweds and their bridal party and groomsmen. We took a lot of fun photos which really showed the wonderful friendships between them all. In one shot, the ladies wore the groomsmens jackets while the guys posed with their bouquets. Later we took a trek to a different location for the couples portraits. We found a gorgeous field and captured the couple stood in the tall grass. They held balloons and walked along the beautiful field hand in hand. We continued to shoot as the sun set behind them, which created the most gorgeous and romantic shots. It was amazing to see the love between the couple and see them spend some time together alone as husband and wife.
We headed back to the reception which was held in a building across the road from the church. It had a giant dancefloor which the happy couple shared their first dance on. Beautiful toasts were made and soon the dancefloor was full of friends and family who danced and celebrated into the night. At one point, we decided to capture a Snapchat of the dancefloor, and all of a sudden the whole wedding party were posing for the camera, including the DJ! It was very fun and you could see the joy that everyone shared that day. It was amazing to have the opportunity to shoot not only the photos at this wedding but the video too. The couple left to a grand sparkler exit and headed off to start their lives together as husband and wife, after what had been the most gorgeous day.
Congratulations guys, it was a blast hanging out with you! We wish you all the best for the future and we're excited to see where you guys go from here.
