Addison and Casey’s wedding was one of those weddings where you wish your wedding could look just like it. Every detail, from the welcome sign as you walk in, to the vintage yellow couch where they took bride and groom portraits, was curated beautifully. We wish every bride could get ready at a location like The Foundation Event Space. It’s wedding preparation room is set up beautifully for the bride and her favorite girls to get ready in. It’s beautiful floor to ceiling windows let in an abundance of light, which makes our photography hearts happy! The room has beautiful furniture with an accent wall that is painted a blush color - perfect for a group of girls. Addison got her hair and makeup done there, as well as put her beautiful dress on in the bridal suite. Addison relied on her mom to help her in her dress and complete her finishing touches.

Inside The Foundation Event Space are two large, red barn doors where Addison and Casey shared in a letter reading together. They shared thoughts and memories with one another that were special to their relationship. These barn doors were perfect for this set up -- one of them on one side of the door, the other on the other side. After reading their letters to one another, they chose to see each other in a first look by walking around the corner of the doors. It was the PERFECT setup.

The Foundation Event Space is in The Westbottoms of Kansas City, MO. There are an abundance of locations down there to take photos. Addison and Casey choose to take bride and groom portraits as well as bridal party photos under the 12th street bridge and in front of some of the old buildings. They also hopped in a few cars and went to Liberty Memorial where they finished up their bridal party photos. Once they got back to the venue, they took advantage of the bridal suite and it’s beautiful natural light again and took some bridal portraits of Addison.

The ceremony space at The Foundation Event Space is absolutely stunning. It has gorgeous wooden floors with old, brick walls. It has a very rustic feel to it and we are in love. Addison and Casey shared their personal vows to one another in front of their favorite people. Their ceremony was very emotional and you could feel the love between the two of them. They exchanged rings and a kiss and then walked back down the aisle while their family and friends clapped for joy at their announcement of their marriage.

After their grand introduction into the reception, Addison and Casey shared in cutting their wedding cake and cheers'ing with champagne. Their best friends shared some of their favorite memories of their relationships and gave them marriage advice for the years ahead. The speeches are the point in the night that we are really excited about. They are always a good mix of funny and sentimental and we love it.

Addison and Casey shared in their first dance on the beautiful, wood dance floor, then shared dances with their mom and dad. Casey’s dance with her dad turned into a fun, choreographed dance and it was so fun to watch! They spent the rest of the evening dancing the night away and spending time with their favorite people. It was such a fun and beautiful day and we are so thankful that we had the opportunity to be there to capture their big day.

We’re adding a few of our most favorite photos below to showcase how amazing this venue and this wedding was. It’s been one of our favorite venues to photograph in Kansas City and we cannot wait to shoot there again soon. It’s beautiful rustic atmosphere is to die for and the service was great too. We loved everything about this day!
