A Colorado Wedding to Remember

Hailey and Christopher’s love story is one for the books. They met at a teacher's end-of-year celebration, where Christopher was dropping off his mother, and Hailey, wearing a giant tutu and high socks, was fiercely competing in games.

It wasn’t until a few hours later that a coworker introduced them, and from that moment on, they were inseparable. Their first date at Vinyl Taco and drinks at Junkyard Brewery set the tone for their fun, adventurous relationship. Fast forward three years, and they chose Epic Photography to capture their dream wedding at the stunning Pinery at the Hill in Colorado Springs.

Before the First Look

The Pinery at the Hill provided an elegant backdrop for Hailey and Christopher's wedding day. Walking into the venue, the dark wood, bright windows, and grand staircase made a lasting impression. The bridal suite, perched at the top of this staircase, offered breathtaking views and a cozy spot for the bridal party to get ready.

Leanne Marie Glamour Studio did hair and makeup for Hailey, her bridesmaids, and a bridesman in a fuchsia outfit. They created stunning looks. The room buzzed with excitement, music, and the clinking of champagne glasses. Amidst the laughter and fun, the flower girl stole the show, dancing around and posing for the camera.

Before the Ceremony

Hailey’s first look with her bridesmaids was heartwarming, with gasps and happy tears all around. Her bridesman’s fuchsia outfit perfectly complemented the bridesmaids’ dresses, adding a unique touch. The first look with her father at the base of the grand staircase was a tear-jerker, as he teared up seeing his daughter in her wedding dress.

Then came the private first look with Christopher. His reaction was priceless—tears, smiles, and pure joy. We captured beautiful portraits of the couple by the grand staircase before heading to the Garden of the Gods for more pre-ceremony shots. The dramatic sky, hinting at rain, cleared up just in time for some stunning photos in this picturesque location.

Group Photos and Reception

The ceremony, officiated by Christopher’s grandfather, was a heartfelt affair.

They exchanged vows, shared rings, and filled the air with love. Post-ceremony, we gathered for group photos with family and friends, capturing the joy and connection of this close-knit group.

The wedding reception was nothing short of spectacular. Cindy Kathy from the Pinery at the Hill ensured everything ran smoothly. The DJ from All Stars DJ kept the dance floor alive all night. The flowers by Leah’s Butler from Attitude Floral and Design added to the venue’s elegant vibe.

The grand introduction led straight into Hailey and Christopher’s choreographed first dance, full of twirls and smiles. Heartfelt speeches followed, with funny rom-com anecdotes from the bridesmaids and witty jokes from the best man. The father-daughter and mother-son dances were touching moments, showcasing deep family bonds.

Their goodbye was beautiful. Sparklers lit up the night as they kissed. It was a magical end to a perfect day.
