Jordan and Ari enjoyed their stunning wedding day at Paradise Cove, South Lake, Texas. The gorgeous venue is set next to a beautiful lake (as suggested by the name), that had expanded somewhat, which changed the whole set, but in the most gorgeous way. Both Ari's sisters had married at this location too, which was very special, but the change of setting meant Ari and Jordan enjoyed the venue in a whole new way than what they already knew. It was an honor to capture this stunning day, uniting a sweet, funny and very kind-hearted couple.
Jordan put so much energy into the wedding and the result was spectacular. She was a gorgeous bride. Jordan wore a floor-length, lace embroidered dress which had a sweetheart neckline. She wore her hair in a beautiful updo and held a bouquet of navy blue flowers. The flowers matched perfectly with the bridesmaid dresses. Each bridesmaid wore a long, navy blue dress, but in slightly different styles. They all looked beautiful and held light pink flowers which matched the dress that the adorable flower girl was wearing. Once the bridal party was ready, Jordan headed off to share a first look moment with her Father. It was a very sweet and emotional moment and they both looked overjoyed to see each other.
Ari is a car lover, superhero fan and all round funny guy. He wore Batman socks for his special day, along with his groomsmen who also had superhero socks on. Ari looked very smart in his light gray suit with a navy blue waist jacket. He and his groomsmen headed outside for some photos under the big trees that sheltered the venue, ahead of the ceremony that was soon to take place.
The traditional Jewish ceremony was stunning. Jordan looked radiant as she walked down the aisle towards the altar, which was all set outside. It was a beautiful day for it as the sun danced lightly over them. Jordan and Ari had the biggest smiles on their faces when they met at the altar. They stood under a beautiful wooden structure that was covered in beautiful white fabric. The ceremony was translated in both English and Hebrew. The happy couple exchanged rings and had communion. They were soon pronounced husband and wife and made their way back down the aisle, now happily married!
We took Jordan and Ari away to capture their couples portraits in their first moments as husband and wife. They stood under a stunning stone archway with the lake in the background and trees surrounding them. It was wonderful to now be capturing these portraits, after first meeting them for the engagement shoot and also capturing Jordan's bridal shoot before the wedding. The light bounced off the still, calm lake as we continued to capture the most gorgeous photos of the happy couple. It was soon sunset, which made the most romantic and stunning backdrop for the remaining couples portraits. After the sun had set, Jordan and Ari went back to their families, where we captured photos of them altogether. These special family photos are ones that we know will be cherished for many years as they can look back and remember this special day that they all shared.
The reception was a wonderful occasion. You could see the families really enjoying each others company and getting to catch up. Ari's step-mother catered the reception and did a fantastic job. She owns her own restaurant and went all out to provide the most amazing food for the wedding. It was wonderful getting to know the families at this intimate and beautiful wedding. Ari and Jordan played the shoe game, enjoyed stunning toasts from their loved ones and shared a private last dance to round off what had been a perfect day.
Before the night ended, Ari and Jordan had photos next to Ari's Uncle's Shelby Mustang which was in Gone in 60 Seconds. Ari and his Uncle take this car to shows and it is very special to them, which is why it was so wonderful they could have the car at the wedding. Amazing personal touches like this really bring a couple's personalities and passions into their wedding day, and really make the day theirs. It was an honor to not only capture the photographs for this special day but also the video footage too.
We hope that your love continues to burn as fast as the oil in that Shelby Mustang and that you guys continue many years of adventure and joy. Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your day.
