A wildly passionate and gorgeous couple who married at The Brik in Fort Worth Texas. It was wonderful to learn about this couple and how they met. In fact, when they first met they didn't like each other! They worked together and she wasn't really looking for anything at the time. But they met in an elevator, while they were working as traveling nurses and the rest, as they say, is history. This beautiful couple currently live in Seattle but wanted their wedding back home in Texas.

Maria was a stunning bride. She wore the most stunning floor-length dress, which had a lace halterneck style top, finished with amazing red shoes that really popped. Maria had a wonderful time getting ready with her gorgeous bridesmaids. They wore matching robes and had a lot of fun in the bridal prep room. When Maria was ready, we captured amazing shots of her wearing her wedding gown in the bathtub. The slightly kooky shot looked truly beautiful. Maria's gorgeous bridesmaids wore floor-length, almost Grecian style dresses which work wonderfully with the theme. Each was different colors, including a pale lavender, stunning red and deep purple.

Trent and his groomsmen laughed and smiled as they prepared for the big day ahead. He and his groomsmen wore very smart burgundy/purple waist jackets with light grey suits and bow ties to match the color theme. We captured a funny moment where Trent pretended to escape through the window, with his best man pulling him back. Trent and his gorgeous wife to be had a stunning set of photos together before the ceremony, where they stood either side of a wall outside and held hands. It was so lovely for the couple to feel the presence of each other, without seeing each other before the ceremony.

The venue was amazing and was a personal favorite of mine to take photographs at. There was so much variety to the venue, from the clean, beautiful bridal suite to the rustic and romantic ceremony spot. The Brik used to be a textile shop, so the whole place had an industrial feel, which is perfect for a beautiful downtown, city vibe wedding.

The ceremony took place inside. The altar was placed in front of a set of big windows, which let in so much gorgeous natural light. Maria walked down the aisle, which was lined with greenery and white lanterns. It was a gorgeous moment as she walked atop the stunning dark wood flooring, towards her husband to be. They looked so happy to be embarking on this amazing day together. The happy couple were pronounced husband and wife after saying their vows in the gorgeous ceremony and sealed the deal with a kiss. This beautiful couple was wonderful to photograph and it was great capturing their personalities. There was a stunning handmade sign placed at the wedding that said 'Marriage: an endless sleepover with your favorite weirdo.' Fun little touches throughout the day such as this really showed what a fun loving couple Maria and Trent were.

We captured fun family photos straight after. The colors of the dresses and the suits really popped and Maria's flowers were beautifully matched to this. The stunning white brick walls made the perfect backdrop for these photos. We loved capturing the fun side of the family, including a moment where the bridesmaids pretended to attack Trent with their bouquets.

As the day went by, it was soon time for the reception. It was like a welcome home party for the couple, who spend so much of their time traveling the country doing amazing work. Everyone was extremely excited the entire night and so full of energy. Maria and Trent had a wild 2 step first dance, which they pulled off brilliantly. They had an amazing selection of pastries laid out for their guests to enjoy next to the stunning wedding cake; a three-tiered masterpiece that looked like the bark of a tree, with their initials etched into it.

We captured the most gorgeous couples portraits. Maria and Trent had a fantastic idea to let off smoke bombs for their photographs. We headed to another part of the venue, that had a wall that was covered in amazing graffiti. The shots looked insanely good. Maria and Trent held the smoke bombs and emerged from the cool lighting. It felt like we were at burning man or in an underground club. We headed back inside, where everyone danced the night away. The DJ really went for it and the whole dance floor was packed. The couple enjoyed fun traditions like the garter toss and danced with their friends and family. It was a true celebration and everyone went for it. The happy couple shared a private last dance before they left to a grand sparkler exit.

Maria and Trent, we could not have had a more fun time, dancing, eating sweet danishes with you and getting to know more about you and how you met. I hope you have an amazing time as you travel the country facilitating the needs of others and wish you all the luck in the world for your future together.
