In Norman, Oklahoma you can find one of the most breathtaking wedding venues in Central Oklahoma! The Springs Event Venue Norman has many features that brides rave about from winding paths to nature and trees and even a shaded ceremony space outside, the Springs offer some of the most scenic lands for your big day. Carli and Ryan fell in love with this venue and knew they wanted to spend their special day there.
The day started with PJs and laughs as all the girls got their hair and makeup done and they took some cute robe shots outside the reception doors. The Springs is built of beautiful white brick with wooden structure and black doors which make for wonderful backgrounds for the wedding photos. The ladies then went out on their dresses and went outside to await the beautiful bride for a bridesmaid reveal. As Carli slipped on her dress in the bridal suite she had one of her bridesmaids help her into it and button her up. The full-length mirrors in the suite at the Springs make for good contrast in photos and can even help capture the front and back of the dress all in one photograph.
After everyone was all ready for Carli and Ryan’s big day, The girls and guys made their way separately down to the altar where the wedding photographer utilized the brick posts that connect the oval arch to take the rest of the bridal party photos for each side. They took silly photos, posed on each other's backs for piggyback rides, and had a blast. The contrast of the trees, nature, brick, and wood really make the subjects stand out on their wedding day and the pictures come out gorgeous at this venue.
Once the wedding photographer finished with those photos, it was time for the couple to have their first look. Carli snuck up behind her soon-to-be husband and tapped him on the shoulder outside of the covered walkway leading out to the ceremony space. He turned around to see his beautiful fiance and couldn’t believe his eyes. He gave her a twirl and hugged her tight which ended up being the cutest photos. Finally, they were off to take some couples portraits across the property and the Springs had a lot of lands to cover! There are beautiful walkways, clusters of trees, and bushes that the wedding photographer used for all their portraits and they came out stunning.
The moment was finally coming for the couple to say “I do” and all of the family trickled into the white chairs to watch the two get married. The bridal party walked down the aisle and then it was time for the cute ring bearer and flower girl to join them the little girl threw pedals and the boy carried the rings. Finally, Carli came down the aisle to meet her man at the altar and everyone smiled and shared the beautiful moment together. The trees in the background swayed in the wind as they had their ceremony and shared their first kiss as husband and wife. The photos were magical with all the surrounding nature at the Springs. The couple got to take a few more wedding photos together out by the bridge as newlyweds before heading into the ceremony space for their grand intro. They stood chest to chest and enjoyed this moment together and we got to capture it all. They finally finished up, and they walked down the gorgeous stairs lined with flowers into the ceremony, the bride tripped on a step and Ryan caught her! Everyone shared a laugh and it made for a great grand intro, especially for photos.
The party finally started and everyone danced their hearts out with the couple. They shared laughs and sang with each other as their favorite songs played on the dance floor. The white brick walls accented the dancing pictures well and the couple loved getting to see all their memories relived after they got the wedding photos back. The Springs made sure their big day was extra special and they truly spent one of their most memorable days together there. The Springs is a beautiful venue to have your wedding and we highly recommend it because your photos will look gorgeous there!
