This stunning, multicultural wedding took place at the Botanical Gardens in Dallas, Texas. Yue and Long were so wonderful to spend the day with. They were the sweetest couple and we felt very welcomed by them. It was a truly wonderful, colorful and traditional wedding and it was an honor to capture this day.

The whole day was full of love. Yue and Long celebrated a gorgeous wedding surrounded by family. We went to Long's house to capture the Tea Ceremony. We were warmly welcomed into the family home and helped to set up. For the Tea Ceremony, Yue and Long wore the most amazing traditional dress, in fantastic red and gold colors. As Yue and Long handed tea to their families, they in return gave them red envelopes for their wedding day. The whole family were smiling and you could see the joy everyone shared on this special day. It was great fun when Long went over the Yue's house, and had to bribe the bridesmaids into allowing him to take Yue's hand in marriage. The whole day was full of these fun and sweet moments.

It was soon time for the ceremony at the Botanical Gardens. The venue had amazing symmetry and was surrounded by trees and bushes. It was an overcast day, so the gardens were beautifully lit which was perfect for the photographs. The wedding took place in the sunken portion of the garden. It was lined with shrubs which created the most perfect aisle for Yue to walk down.

Yue was a stunning bride. As she walked down the aisle, everyone smiled at her and were in awe of how beautiful she looked. She wore a gorgeous, white A-line dress with lace detail. Her hair was place in a stunning updo, completed with a delicate tiara. Yue's lovely bridesmaids wore dark purple, floor length dresses and each of them looked absolutely beautiful. Long looked overjoyed to meet his love at the altar. It was so wonderful to witness this sweet and lovely couple tie the knot and commit themselves to each other for the rest of their lives. They married in front of a beautiful, calm water fountain, surrounded by nature and it was perfect.

After the ceremony we captured some amazing shots of the happy couple, along with the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Not only were were taking photographs, but we were fortunate to film the day for Yue and Long too. The sun came out after the ceremony. There were smiles on the bride and grooms face the entire time and their happiness really showed on the couples portraits.

A second tea ceremony took place at the reception, as Yue and Long greeted their guests. The venue was beautifully decorated, incorporating the stunning purple theme and natural feel of the day. Amazing traditions continued into the night. A drum group arrived and played for the bride and groom and their guests. As they played, two performers dance in a Lion costume, and pretend to eat people! It was very entertaining and they even shot confetti out of the Lion's mouth. It was a marvellous performance that was enjoyed by everyone there. Everyone sat down to enjoy a fabulous 10 course meal. The food included shrimp balls, crab soup and steak to name a few of these tantalising dishes. The wonderful couple made sure we had our own table to sit and enjoy this fantastic food with them. This was another amazing way that they felt us feel so incredibly welcome.

Everyone had a blast throughout the whole night. It was a truly magnificent wedding and one we won't forget. Everyone danced and shared so much laughter and joy. The couple cut their delicious wedding cake, enjoyed amazing toasts and truly celebrated their nuptials in style.

I am extremely honoured that you guys invited us out to be your videographer and photographer for the day. You were so willing to invite us in to your home.
